just read Marcy's blog, she does a swell job. I have been following her blog for over a yr. and she does the best photography ,
   I was helping pull weeds and cattails in the field out behind yesterday and got 4 bites, I say spider and earl said it could be chiggers. vinegar kills weeds and chiggers are in the weeds so I soaked my legs in vinegar, but they are still itching this morning. I don't think I will be in the field today, alltho I do like to help earl.
   missing Debbie a lot lately, with all the holidays , she loved parties. and cookouts, and she missed her cruise, but she took the ultimate cruise, not on the sea, but in the air. and got all the perks that went with it. lovely girl.
  
                                                      

    Been  awhile since I have typed anything, I would like to write every day but I am not that person. 
Had fun fathers day cookout at our sons house in morgantown, on sat. the 15th, got to ride the new 4 wheeler 750 . nice , had power steering. He has a woods behind his house and trails going all thru it and in the creek. have so much fun there and visiting with char's brother and his wife, who are the best friends you could ever ask for, super nice people. 
  I am still worrying about daughter Pat, she just isn't getting back to normal. I wish so much that she would stop smoking, I know that would help a lot. It certainly can't be helping any. 
 chris in ky. I don't think she is as well as she wants me to think she is. I don't see her a lot so I have to go by what she tells me. 
 Been trying to clean up this place. earl works on outside and me inside. decided to dust a what knot shelf that looked like it hadn't been dusted for 5 yrs. that got me started. and then I painted the back door inside and the woodwork around it. and plan on doing a lot more today.  I never understand why some one would put the washer and dryer by the furnace. I think that is why I have so much dust. 
 well will get off that subject, 
  Want to say what a fine family  I have, I don't know how I managed to have such marvelous children. Oh and Pat and I and my good daughter in law, and great granddaughter met the daughter from ky , chris. at a halfway point and had a good meal at cracker barrel, and then sat out in front and gave chris her birthday presents, and just had a good visit. so glad char went with us.
 I know there are a lot of things I want to put in here, and I need to start making notes,as they happen. but for now will go put second coat on door.

Had a good day today. Son and daughter  in law came over and I have eaten so much. pumpkin pie and coconut pie , and fruit salad and deviled eggs and they can have the hamburgers and brats, I go for the good stuff. but I did enjoy having them here, and Pat was here. She bought over gift she has made for chris. she is so talented. I wish she could get well. so many yard sales we are missing, and other things we need to be doing. before I get so old I can't do them. 85 seems to be slowing me down a lot. but I am trying not to give up. I have a good family, chris in ky is not in the best of health, she doesn't get around as good as I do I don't think. I am blessed, to be able to do all I do. and I am blessed with a wonderful husband. , still amazed at him still being with me after all these 47 yrs. he has put up with a lot. he must have loved me a lot. we have did a lot and traveled a lot and had a lot  of fun and ups and downs, but still  hanging in there. we're getting toward the end of the  line now. and I don't mean that zip line. I may not have much money wise, but have a good life anyway, and feel blessed.  going to sign off now, and watch the news. and see if earl has found a movie for us to watch. later

                                                           

  well I ;made it to the 85 ;mark, and got to go zip lining, it was fun , my daughter in law went with me. I needed her to hold on to walking from one ride to the other. and sun. they had a big get together at a mex rest . and almost all of the family was there, I think there were twenty something there, food was good and cake was good. and gifts were good. I have a great family. love them all. and that includes my husband also, love him also. and the bunch at the resturant came out and sang happy birthday in spanish to me, so I didn't know a word they said. but it was nice. and we were celebrating 3 birthdays, but one didn't come so his wife got his ice cream. my great grand daughter who was born on my birthday, and now she has to share her party with me. but I think she gets another after they get home.
   been waiting for my tulips to bloom and the one big bed that was so pretty last yr. has not prospered this year, I think because this has been such a wet april that the bulbs must have disintergrated, or what ever they do. so I think I am going to put a bunch of white petunias in it.
   earl has gone to play music,
   the baby has been sick for about 5 days, and yesterday couldn't walk, had a vet appt, for he today , but she is better so we cancelled it. she is walking a l ittle and eating and so far keeping it down. so i hope she is back to normal tomorrow. well will close for now. :I want to put some pictures on here, so will be back


                           

                                                                     

           I has really been a not so good month, with all the rain and flooding, and then this weekend the freezing and we had to get out and get buckets and cans and baskets and we think the freeze didn't get them. I love my flowers out in the yard,
went to sun school this morn, Pat didn't make it as she over slept, she is up half the night and sometimes has to sleep in the daytime. I know she doesn't get enough sleep. earl is asleep now, I think he gets enough, he can sleep all night and then nap in the chair most of the day and then sleep that night, I can't do that, fi I sleep in the day time I may not sleep when I go to bed.
I wanted to go on the cancer walk sat, but I just can't take this cold, I went the last 2 yrs, I talked to   Sal and he said it really was cold.  I hope he doesn't get sick over this.

 will try to put some more on here, finding out how hard it is to take time to write, I don't think I could ever write a book. unless I had years to do it. earl has gone to play music with a bunch of his friends,  they  are playing in a basement of a church in greensboro, He loves to sing and play his guitar, He took a motorcycle ride yesteday, He doesn't enjoy it as much just going by himself,
I got to tell you what charlene and john got for me for my 85 birthday, a trip on the zip line ;down in brown county. my bithday is not till the 29, but it was a real pretty day and we took advantage of it, earl and john took pictures,   earl said he never did have a hankering to do that. but I thought it would be fun. and it was fun after I learned how to sit down , but never did get the hang of stopping, this one at rawhide ranch doesn't have a brake to stop you, and you have to be running when you land to get it stopped and I kinda messed up on that, but there were 6 rides and I made 4 of them before I decided it was time to bow out, as the last 2 were longer and faster. and I guess I had enough to wear me out. but glad I did it. when I get the pics from char I will put some of them on here, hope it wont be so long before I am on here again.  love  you
                                       

                                                  

   Been awhile since I have wrote on here, would like to do it every day, but  I am not smart enough to think up things to  write about.If there is any place in this one that needs an aposterfee,( now that is not the way to spell it) but you will know what I mean, that key doesn't  work   all the time since I turned my ice cream over on the keyboard.
 Got to say that Pat my middle daughter is getting better now, and she has been home bound for about a year, and 3 surgurys, and she now can walk and get out and go somewhere. She has a rough year. she has so many things planned ;now to do, things she was too sick to do before,  I sure want her to get well.
  Earl has gone to play music with some guys, the loves to play and sing. and watch tv and eat popcorn. does that sound like typical man?  won't be long now till time to fire up the lawn mower. and that will keep him busy. just got to talk to my daughter in law on the cell, she is so nice. we are blessed to have her in our family.
   I got the flowers fixed this morning, and took to the cementary.  well lily mae, my bischon is having a fit wanting to eat or go out, so I have to go take care of her.
